IfcStoreyView VRML Export

A complete IFC model can be exported into VRML 2.0 by using the IfcStoreyView ( or see Free Software).

Export Workflow


  • select "File-->Export-->VRML 2"
  • confirm or change the file name
  • confirm input by pressing ok

Export Options


  • use entity OID in DEF
  • use entity Type in DEF
  • use entity Name in DEF

Export Results


  • for each entity an IndexedFaceSet is created
  • according to the export options, a DEF node is created
  • colors are preserved
